About this work
Carved from a single block of Carrara marble, this sculpture captures the fluidity of water frozen in stone. The smooth, polished surfaces contrast with rough, unfinished areas.
The artist spent six months hand-carving this piece, allowing the natural veins of the marble to guide the final form. The result is a dialogue between artist intention and material character.
